What goes into the on-road price
The on-road price is what you actually pay to drive a vehicle home. It is the ex-showroom price plus road tax (a one-time state charge, usually the biggest add-on), registration and RTO charges, and first-year insurance. Road tax and EV rules vary a lot by state, and insurance depends on the vehicle and insurer, so the figures here are estimates.
